King Joe Black

King Joe reappeared throughout the Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle as King Joe Black. King Joe appears as an upgraded former version of himself known as "King Joe Black", a black version of his former self who is also given a powerful cannon arm attachment that replaces his right hand. Unfortunately, this King Joe Black went berserk and came to the planet Boris.

Throughout the series it serves as a secondary antagonist, killing several roaming monsters (Angross, Gromite, Lunaticks, and Saramandora) on the planet before finally confronting Rei and the ZAP SPACY. Even Rei's monsters (Gomora, Litra, and Eleking) combined powers could not scratch King Joe Black's armor and they were forced to retreat before taking anymore serious damage. He returns during the series finale, interrupting the final battle between Kate's Zetton and Rei's Gomora, fighting Zetton to a standstill. However after Rei turns into Reimon and Gomora powers up into EX Gomora, King Joe Black is impaled by EX Gomora's tail, crippling the robot for the rest of the fight.

Publication Information King Joe Black returns to try and stop the Pendragon from escaping the planet but Ultraman, (who was revived by Rei) attacks him, surprisingly slices off his arm with rather ease despite it's notorius defense and dragged him down to the planet as it is destroyed by the manmade artificial sun (flashback to Ultraman Dyna's man-made sun).

Powers and Weapons
  • Hyper Dest Ray : A reinforced variation of the original King Joe's Dest Ray. When needed, King Joe Black can create and then fire two, separate, blue lightning bolts of electrical energy and have them fire from the two knobs of plate on top his face/forehead, his chest and anywhere while being four ships. As they fire, the bolts will come together and combine into one, forming large, strong, missile-strength energy bolt of electricity.
    • Separative Eldritch Shot : In its separative ship form, all ships can launch the Eldritch Shot in unison.
  • King Joe Black Flight Mode : When needed, King Joe Black can separate his body and becoming four different, separate, attack space ship vehicles and reassemble at will that allow him to fly through the air at incredibly fast speeds, all equipped with various strength weapons and each capable of flying and and shooting energy bolts. He's been shown to do this in less than a second and capable of reforming at the same speeds in just a few seconds also. This not only allows him to fly long distances, even in space, but can also be used to escape enemy attacks. While in this form, each of King Joe Black’s long unit attack ships can homing missiles, smoke trails with messages, emit powerful, purple energy blasts of energy that can completely destroy weaker monsters in a few hits.
    • Pedanium Air Raid : Energy blasts that attack the enemies in aerial combat.
    • Hyper Pedanium Buster : Fired from his arm cannon, King Joe Black can launch a powerful, large, purple orb blast of energy from his arm cannon when in Flight Mode. Each unit releases energy and it meets at the cannon. This orb is capable of following an opponent’s every move before striking, homing in on its enemies, and has enough power to rival Gomora's Super Oscillatory Wave and kill monsters in one shot.
  • Pedanium Launcher : King Joe Black has and is equipped with a large cannon as in place of a right hand/arm. This cannon is extremely powerful, able to create massive explosions just as big as he and can fire missile-strength shots in rapid succession that can destroy most monsters in a single shot and also bring down monsters like Gomora, Litra, and Eleking in a single assault. Not only does this cannon work well as a ranged attack, but it can also even be used as an effective melee weapon, swung as if a hammer, bludgeoning his opponents.
    • Launcher Ray : In Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie, King Joe Black was able to fire a powerful purple colored ray from the Pedanium Launcher. This could be exclusive to its revived state.
  • Pedanium : King Joe Black's body has and is made up of a highly reinforced, special metal armor, called Pedanium, a type of alloy used by Alien Pedan. The metal is extremely strong and being completely impervious to even the toughest of attacks. It can withstand nearly any physical attack and also allows him to stand up to powerful assaults like Gomora's Super Oscillatory Wave, Litra's fireballs, and Eleking's electric discs at once and not receive so much as a scratch. Most physical attacks have little to no effect and can simply swipe attacks like Zetton's rechannel ray. This also gives him enough strength to toss opponents by simply countering their moves.
Ultra Monster
  • Pedanium Hurricane : King Joe Black spins while firing with his Pedanium Launcher.
  • Pedanium Special : A tag-team attack with a normal King Joe. Both King Joe models fire their Eldritch Shot in unison.

It is revealed that the King Joe Black from the previous series was but one of an entire army of King Joe Blacks, whom serve as soldiers to the Alien Pedan, whom have arrived on Planet Hammer. It is also revealed that the reason for King Joe Black's attack against Rei and Kate was due to the Alien Pedan's desire to wipe out all Reionyxs.

Much like the previous King Joe Black's role, King Joe Blacks are sent this time by the Alien Pedan to exterminate monsters that belong to Reilbloods. One is seen killing Alien Hook's Re-Dorako, and Alien Zetton's Telesdon. Another was summoned to deal with Rei, who uses Gomora to face the robot. At first Gomora's attacks again seemed useless against King Joe Black until he turned into Reionic Burst Gomora. Now able to control the power, Reionic Burst Gomora had no trouble destroying the King Joe Black. Another one would be summoned to attack Grande but his Red King was summoned and King Joe Black was quickly destroyed.

Imago Hyper Zetton

Imago Hyper Zetton is a the adult form of Hyper Zetton, modifyed and much more powerful version of the original Zetton created by Alien Bat as his weapon to bring death to the universe. He is refered to by Alien Bat as Evil God of Destruction or Ultimate Zetton. After Giganto Zetton is "killed" in action against the trio of Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Cosmos, and Ultraman Dyna, Alien Bat merges both his fortress and himself with Giganto Zetton's remains, causing its body to "molt" into becoming the much more powerful Hyper Zetton.

Despite losing a vast majority of his natural strength, Hyper Zetton's heavily increased speed allowed him to easily trounce the three Ultras with his fighting skills and abilities, and ultimately manages to kill Ultraman Zero. However the three hosts (Taiga, Musashi, and Asuka) managed to form a nexus with their hearts, and the three Ultra hosts became one almighty Ultra: Ultraman Saga. Despite the Ultras merging though, Saga's own strength and abilities were only matched with Hyper Zetton's strength and abilities, making their battle a standstill. With the additional assistance of Team U setting a trap earlier on, Hyper Zetton was temporarily distracted, allowing Ultraman Saga to slice off Hyper Zetton's wings, severely weakening the monster. Without the abilities his wings carried, Hyper Zetton and Alien Bat tried to escape the Earth by penetrating its atmosphere, but Saga caught up with the monster, and after a beatdown, Hyper Zetton and Alien Bat were destroyed by Ultraman Saga's Maximum Saga attack.

The SSSP eventually chases down the alien and Shin Hayata shoots it in the head with his Mars 133 gun and kills it. However, before dying, the alien manages to utter the word "Zetton". Rei is forced to surrender in order to save his monsters from death, only to receive the respect of Kate and another rematch with her. Two variations of Zetton reappears in the new series, Ultraman Orb, as a King Demon Beast Maga-Zetton and Hyper Zetton Deathscythe. While not the original Kaiju itself, a Zetton Kaiju Card was used alongside Pandon to create Zeppandon. Maga-Zetton was one of the King Demon Beasts spawned by Maga-Orochi, and had the attribute of Light. It was sealed by Ultraman some time ago. As Gai journeyed to Rusalka due to signs of a King Demon Beast's revival, Maga-Zetton's presence had caused abnormal sun rays, the tundra's ice begins to melt, causing monsters to awaken as well. After acquiring cards of Kingsaurus II, C.O.V., and Pris-Ma, Jugglus Juggler released Maga-Zetton as it wreaked havoc at the forest, Gai transformed into Orb to fight it.

Ultra Fight Orb

Hyper Zetton reappeared in this mini series where he was revived by Reibatos, alongside Vict Lugiel, King Joe, Birdon, Gudon, and Twin Tail, to fight Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Zero on Planet Yomi. He teamed up with Gudon and Twin Tail to take down Zero, but the Ultra proved to be greater challenge for him despite having all three of them outnumbered. Hyper Zetton's exceptional strength and speed didn't help him in all in this case because both Zero and Orb have dealt with Zetton like him before and matched him equally in battle. Because of this, Hyper Zetton ended getting destroyed by Orb Hurricane Slash's Big Bang Thrust and an energized slash from Luna-Miracle Zero's Ultra Zero Lance.

Ultraman Geed Zetton along with King Joe's Kaiju Capsules were used by Kei Fukuide to Fusion Rise into Pedanium Zetton.

Redman

Zetton II appeared in the series, Redman. Zetton II made his first appearance on the show in episode 129 where he fought Redman alone. He jumped up to avoid getting killed by the alien hero's Red Knife and snuck up from behind him for a much needed edge. Whenever Redman tried to grapple him, Zetton would just throw him back down. Even though the odds were against him, Redman never gave up and eventually started to win against the strong monster, even when his Red Arrow was knocked away from him. He eventually defeated Zetton by hoisting him over his head and sent him plummeting over the hill with his Red Fall.

Ultra Super Fight

Zetton appeared in Ultra Super Fight, where he fought Ultraseven.

To keep in touch with the original Zetton from Ultra Series, he was stated to have a weakness in his right foot, which was based on George's claim in Ultraman Mebius that Zetton's weakness are his feet. Red Tornado

Red Tornado was a military robot used by general Winn Schott of the Freedom Fighters.

Fighting the Reichsmen

Red Tornado was the secret weapon of General Winn Schott against the Nazi Schutzstaffel forces. He joined the Freedom Fighters in all of their missions. Red Tornado became part of the Freedom Fighters' elite team of superheroes, spearheaded by his meta-human friend the Ray, rescued citizens in the cities occupied by the Nazis such as Tulsa. When the Schutzstaffel troops were moved to the outskirts of Tulsa, with Führer Oliver threatening to destroy everything that those who support resistance hold dear, the Freedom Fighters' elite superhero attack team arrived to the city to join local resistance in destroying SS tanks and soldiers.

Publication Information Before too late, however, the battle was joined by the New Reichsmen, a trio of Nazi leaders which included Führer Oliver himself, the speedster Blitzkrieg and their powerhouse Overgirl. As the battle continued, the Red Tornado was overpowered by Overgirl, his systems now on subnormal levels. Asking not to let the Reichsmen capture Freedom Fighters' secrets, Red Tornado forced the Ray to take its neo-cortex with him, despite Ray's protests that it would remove the robot's unique personality. After the Ray complied with his robotic friend's request, this version of Red Tornado shut down, while its neuro-cortex, containing a holographic projection of Red Tornado, was sent to Earth One, where it ended up in the hands of that Earth's Ray Terrill.

Rebirth and Destruction

The robot was rebuilt by General Schott to destroy the Nazi-owned temporal gateway to Earth One, intending to trap Führer Oliver away from the majority of his forces and cause disorder in the New Reich military. That would pose a problem for the Earth One superheroes, who'd be cut away from home, leading to the Flash and the Ray teaming up to take down Red Tornado, or at least stall him long enough for the rest of the heroes to make their way to Earth One. Red Tornado was able to successfully dodge their attacks, dealing with both heroes separately. Eventually, the two meta-humans managed to combine their powers in such a way that the Red Tornado would be hit by the Flash's lightning bolt and the Ray's light blast at the same time, destroying the android. Whether it's been rebuilt since then is unknown.

Power and Weapons
  • Aerokinesis : As a combat android, Red Tornado was designed to be able manipulate the air around him.
    • Air blasts : Red Tornado was capable of creating highly concentrated blasts of wind.
    • Tornado creation : Red Tornado was capable of creating destructive tornadoes, as shown when he did so as a diversion to escape from the Flash.
  • Extreme durability : Red Tornado was able to sustain lightning bolts from the Flash and the Ray, though not at the same time.
  • Physical fighting : The robot was able fight akin to humans, using its fists and legs. It was strong enough to be a problem for meta-humans like the Flash and the Ray.
  • Propelled flight : The robot was designed for flights at extreme speed with its propeller-like legs
  • Talking : Unlike his Earth Thirty-Eight counterpart, Red Tornado could talk.

Red Tornado (Earth-38)

Red Tornado was a combat android designed by T.O. Morrow to kill Kryptonians. Morrow created Red Tornado in his own image. Red Tornado was a billion dollar investment, taking over eleven years to research and develop.

Tested against Supergirl

Red Tornado was activated by T.O. Morrow when General Sam Lane asked Supergirl to fight it, to test the android's capabilities. The next day, both Red Tornado and Supergirl battled. Though Red Tornado was initially winning the fight, Supergirl soon gained the upper hand, causing internal system damage to Red Tornado, and taking off its arm in the process. Due to this, Red Tornado's emergency self-preservation function was activated, with the android escaping. The next day, still under the control of Morrow, Red Tornado confronted Sam Lane, Lucy Lane, and James Olsen, pushing Lucy into a table with a gust of wind. Though it attempted to attack Sam Lane, Red Tornado was prevented from doing so by Supergirl. Afterwards, Red Tornado created a tornado as a diversion to escape.

Publication Information Destruction

Supergirl's team was able to draw Red Tornado out with a projection of General Lane, the android attempted to attack the hologram before being shot in the back by Supergirl. A battle between the two ensued, while it managed to overpower and keep Supergirl in a chokehold until after T.O. Morrow was killed and no longer controlling the android. While Supergirl caught her breath, the android became sentient and continued attacking her. However, Red Tornado was destroyed by Supergirl, who in a fit of rage, fired a powerful blast of heat vision at the android causing it to explode. In the aftermath of the battle, however, Supergirl had exhausted her solar energy through her heat vision and temporarily lost her abilities.

Power and Weapons
  • Aerokinesis : As a combat android, Red Tornado was designed to be able manipulate the air around him.
    • Air blasts : Red Tornado was capable of creating highly concentrated blasts of wind.
    • Tornado creation : Red Tornado was capable of creating destructive tornadoes, as shown when he did so as a diversion to escape from Supergirl.
    • Propelled flight : Red Tornado was capable of flight by channeling cyclone winds through the lower part of his body.
  • Stealth mode : Red Tornado was capable of a stealth mode, in which he was 100% undetectable, even by Supergirl herself; this was due to the fact that he was made out of lead.
  • Missile projection : Red Tornado was capable of firing missiles from it's hand, which were able to stun Supergirl while exploding against her, though they could not damage her.
  • Extreme durability : Red Tornado was able to sustain hits from Supergirl, though it was eventually damaged by her and escaped. It withstood her heat vision for a time before being overloaded by its energy and exploding.
  • Super strength : Red Tornado has inhuman strength that allows it to fight a Kryptonian on almost equal grounds, to the point where it could almost overpower and kill one, as it seemed to come close to killing Supergirl with a chokehold

The Destroyer

The Destroyer was a magical, consciousless entity built by Odin to defend the Asgardian vaults. It will complete any mission given to it without question, regardless of how long the mission or who gets in its way. Its primary weapon are fiery beams of energy emitted from its face, but it is also superhumanly strong and nearly invulnerable to damage. The Destroyer was an emotionless, speechless, order-driven, metal automoton made by Asgardian magic.

Thor

On the day of Thor's coronation, three Frost Giants sneaked into Asgard's weapons vaults and took the Casket of Ancient Winters. Odin sensed this and had the Destroyer emerge from its resting place to attack the intruders. One of them attempted to use the Casket on the Destroyer, but the armor vaporized all three Frost Giants before returning to its resting place. Some time later, when Thor was banished due to his actions on Jotunheim, Loki sent the Destroyer to Earth to destroy his brother and everything else that got in the way. The Destroyer passed through the Bifrost Bridge and landed in New Mexico, Earth. Once there it encountered agent Phil Coulson and a team of SHIELD agents but quickly destroyed their cars before moving onto the small town.

Publication Information Once there it went on a rampage on the town but it encountered the Warriors Three and Lady Sif. Volstagg tried to jump it but was smacked back onto a car. But before the Destroyer could kill him, it was stabbed by Sif and briefly taken out of commission. Once it recovered, it reformed to face Sif and blasted her off of itself. When the four tried to regroup, Destroyer blasted them into different buildings and blasted Volstagg, badly hurting him. Once everyone was at safe distance, Thor himself approached the Destroyer and begged Loki to stop the rampage and take his life instead.

Fury's Big Week

The Destroyer was collected by S.H.I.E.L.D. after Thor defeated it and is kept in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters. A year later, scientists from SHIELD managed to reactivate the energy of the Destroyer. After that, Phil Coulson ordered them to disband, and it turned into weapons.

The Avengers

During Loki's escape from his prison on the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, Phil Coulson attacked the Asgardian with a gun made from the Destroyer's body, actually sending the god of mischief flying through a wall on his second attempt, proving its effectiveness.

Abilities

While not as powerful as the comic version, despite this, the Destroyer is one of the most powerful non-living weapons in the MCU. The Destroyer operates at the behest of whomever holds Gungnir, the Asgardian ruler's spear, and can therefore be used for good or for evil depending on who sits on the throne. It can also therefore be stopped by an attack on its vulnerable master. The Destroyer was programmed solely for battle and destruction.
  • Advanced Strength : The Destroyer's large size and construction gives it a formidable physical power, enough to bat away a car hurled at it with apparent ease and swat Thor back several feet with one hit
  • Advanced Durability : The Destroyer was constructed of alien materials that makes it highly resistant to damage. Even when pierced by an Asgardian lance it was able to continue functioning and remove it from its body and showed no signs of damage from it.
  • Energy Blast : The Destroyer contains Odinforce that can be unleashed through an aperture in its head. When it does this, part of the facial structure retracts downward into the lower face and the energy discharge lances out the orange-white beam. The touch of this beam was enough to blast a car to pieces or vaporize a living being. At full power, it nearly devastated half of a town.
  • Retrograde Positioning : The Destroyer is able to move its armor pieces so that it faces the opposite way without turning around; its back side becomes its front side and vice versa. This was used when Lady Sif drove a lance through its back and the Destroyer positions itself to blast her.

Ultron

Ultron was a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence created and programmed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner from the Ultron Program and the use of the Chitauri Scepter as part of a peacekeeping force intended to help out the Avengers. Ultron concludes that the only way to ensure peace on Earth is through mankind's immediate extinction. Ultron's programming was created with emotional responses based on Tony Stark and he possesses a god-complex. He was maniacal and employs the use of dark humor as well as figure of speech.

He resents the Avengers and believes them to be foolish for desiring to protect the world but not wanting to change it. Ultron used the Internet to learn about his creators and so gained access to knowledge of the countless atrocities committed by humanity. He equates peace to humanity's non-existence. Ultron hates being compared to Tony Stark even going into a mindless rage when compared to him by Klaue. The irony to all this is that Ultron shares many of the traits from his creator Tony including the wit, ego, sarcasm and the ability to make light of a situation even going as far at one point to directly quoting him without even realizing it. Ultron's dedication to constant evolution results in Ultron re-designing himself several times over the course of his short "lifetime", including an attempt to give himself a Vibranium synthetic body. It was revealed at the end that Ultron ultimately fears death, and due to believing that humanity will inevitably doom itself, he sought to surpass this by turning himself into an indestructible god-like being that would recreate the Earth.

His desire to surpass his own limits and wanting to create a perfect humanoid body is reflected in his fascination over the titular character of "Pinocchio". Though Ultron was borderline psychopathic in his behavior and mannerisms, he is shown as having a sympathetic and lonely side as he was able to relate to the Maximoff twins' hardships as well as finding comfort in being able to simply talk to Natasha Romanoff, sparing her and keeping her captive instead of outright killing her.

Avengers : Age of Ultron

Tony Stark and Bruce Banner originally devised the idea for Ultron as an extension of the Iron Legion, operating independently as a peacekeeping force. However, neither Banner nor Stark were able to create the level of A.I. necessary to achieve this purpose on a large scale. After the assault on the HYDRA Research Base, and the retrieval of Loki's Scepter, Tony asked Thor if he could study the Scepter for a few days before Thor returned it to Asgard. Upon studying the Scepter, Stark and Banner discovered net of neurons hidden within the gem inside that can finish the Ultron Program.

Abilities

Ultron was a quite powerful artificial intelligence whose consciousness could possess multiple technologies simultaneously, possessing whole multitudes of armies at once. Every robotic body he used gave him inhuman physical capabilities. His first body was a Iron Legion drone that with enough strength to instantly crush a drone's head with one hand. This body was mangled and lacerated, with parts barely hanging onto it, which Thor easily smashed. His second and third body, based on the robotic sentries that HYDRA built, was even more physically powerful, and even had propelled flight capabilities similar to Iron Man, except that it generated red energy and sonic shockwaves. From then on, Ultron's bodies could fire red, electrical energy out of its hands and fingers and used Chitauri anti-gravitational technology to create shock-waves, and tear the ground telekinetically with arm movements and hand gestures. He also used it to disorient and pull Iron Man towards him. However, Tony, in the Mark XLIII, proved to be able to overpower him and destroyed the second body with an arm missile. His third body was used to have Helen Cho create Vision to be final body, but this failed. His final, Vibranium body destroyed his third body and granted him strength enough to overpower the likes of Thor and Vision. It utilized Chitauri anti-gravitational in the same way.
  • Robotic Physiology : Ultron possesses a humanoid robotic body that was initially constructed out of Tony Stark's Iron Legion drones. Over time he was able to construct multiple robot forms sourced from Wolfgang von Strucker's base in Sokovia; becoming more powerful with each new upgrade.
    • Flight : Ultron has built in boosters that enables him to fly. Ultron and Iron Man engaged in a fierce aerial battle. His last body did not use jet propulsion, and instead utilized Chitauri anti-gravitational technology which he worked with when taking over Strucker's base, granting him the ability to fly through the air at high speeds.
    • Advanced Strength : All of Ultron's bodies possess extraordinary strength, allowing him to easily overpower humans, and even the Avengers, as seen when he fights Steve Rogers, the two engaged in close combat on top of the truck. Their battle spilled onto a nearby train and though Ultron was able to outmatch Steve but was then confronted by the Maximoff twins who decide to work against him. Later, Ultron, in his final body, had the upper hand against both Thor and Vision.
    • Advanced Durability : Ultron's first body had moderate protection from damage with its metal plating having been breached in several places revealing its internal systems, with Thor destroying it with a throw of his hammer. Captain America's Shield was able to pierce Ultron's third body thanks to the Vibranium. Ultron, in his Prime body, is composed of Vibranium that make him practically unstoppable in battle. It took Iron Man, Thor and the Vision to damage Ultron Prime body.
    • Self-Sufficiency : Ultron doesn't need to eat, drink, breath, or sleep and does not have a stamina, therefore he can never get tired unless he gets weakened.
    • Reaction Time : Ultron can move and react at speeds that is greater than humans.
    • Technology Interface : Ultron was able to Interface with any computer systems. When Ultron was destroyed he was able to transfer his programming into another body. Ultron transferred billions into Klaue's account via remote access to the Internet. Ultron could also command the Ultron Sentries, to do his exact bidding. However, Vision was able to hack into Ultron's programming and disable the latter's ability to enter the net.
    • Anti-Gravity Tech : Ultron possesses miniaturized versions of the anti-gravity technology that served to keep the Chitauri Leviathan afloat; essentially re-purposing them as offensive weaponry. Through his hands, he can generate gravitational fields, allowing him to move any object through a push/pull motion. Ultron used these to pull his enemies towards himself, throw large objects at enemies, and even shift the land mass around him by pulling large chunks up from the ground. His final form possessed this technology in place of its flight based parts, allowing him to fly without other means of propulsion.
    • Concussion Blasts : Ultron can shoot red, concussive, electricity-like energy from his hands and fingers. Much like the Repulsor beams of the Iron Man armor, they where designed to physically repel targets and exert enough extreme amounts force to blast though stone and metal or break it apart. Ultron has been shown to used the concussion blasts to both wound and kill, such as when he wounded Helen Cho or when he blasted through the train conductor's door during his skirmish with Steve Rogers, effectively destroying the train's control panel and killing the train conductor inside.

Publication Information Ultron Sentries were artificially intelligent robots created and controlled by Ultron. Ultron had the ability to move his consciousness into any of the Ultron Sentries.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ultron Sentries were glimpsed in a vision by the clairvoyant Inhuman Raina, who witnessed Ultron leading his army of drones against humanity, causing horrific levels of destruction. Raina and Jiaying, to whom Raina relayed the information to, were visibly troubled by the vision.

Avengers : Age of Ultron

After Ultron revealed himself to The Avengers in the form of spare parts taken from destroyed Iron Legion drones, which was subsequently destroyed by Thor, Ultron began constructing a new body and an army of sentries out of the unfinished robots Tony Stark found in a hidden sub-level of Hydra's fortress in Sokovia. Ultron acted as a "hive mind" that controlled each sentry drone.

Iron Man

Upon seeing the Mark II armor in Tony's workshop, James Rhodes claimed that he would don the armor "next time".

Iron Man 2

Rhodes is under pressure by the United States government to convince Tony Stark to relinquish ownership of the Iron Man armor while remaining loyal to Stark despite frustration. After Whiplash attacks Stark, Rhodes tells him that he has been working 24/7 to stop the National Guard from using tanks and soldiers to break into his home and steal the Marks I-IV from the Hall of Armor, where he then learns that Tony is slowly dying. When an intoxicated Stark in the Iron Man armor proceeds to target and shoot various objects endangering the lives of all the guests at his birthday party, Rhodes was forced to don the Iron Man Mark II armor to intervene. After the intervention turns into a fight that wrecked Stark's home, Rhodes left with the Mark II armor.

Iron Man 3 Prelude

Tony stripped the War Machine armor of everything that Justin Hammer had "upgraded" it with leaving the suit with no weaponry. When Rhodes pointed this out to Stark, Stark revealed that he had designed a suit specifically for Rhodes, the War Machine 2.0. The prototype was added to Stark's Hall of Armor because he couldn't simply scrap one of his creations. Rhodes began using the War Machine armor to take down Ten Rings terrorists in other countries finding that they had acquired Hammer Industries weaponry. War Machine took out the terrorists and continued to investigate the mysterious Ten Rings.

Iron Man 3

The government repainted Rhodes' new War Machine armor with a patriotic color scheme, renaming it Iron Patriot because it got the best response from the public. It had the same functions of the Mark II, fighting terrorist, specifically the Mandarin. When the suit was captured, Eric Savin used the suit to capture the president and blow up Air Force One and sent it back the Mandarin in a oil rig in Florida, where he trapped the President in the Iron Patriot suit and planned to kill him on live TV. But Stark, Rhodey, and the Iron Legion came to fight off the Extremis soldiers and save the president. Rhodey saved the president and used the Iron Patriot suit to fly him to safety.

Avengers : Age of Ultron

The War Machine armor returned to its original paint scheme. During the fight against Ultron, S.H.I.E.L.D. deployed War Machine to fight against the Ultron Sentries attacking the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier with the Vision help. After Ultron was defeated, Rhodes joined the new Avengers when Tony left the team.

Iron Man

Iron Man is the name of the suit of armor developed by Tony Stark created with the help of Ho Yinsen as a means of escaping captivity in Afghanistan. Once he got back to home, he perfected the armor using the vast resources of his former weapons factory Stark Industries. Tony took the name "Iron Man" after the suit of armor he built and wore.

Designs

With the exception of the Mark I Iron Man armor, almost all of the Iron Man suits share a common design and capability set. The suit is a powered exoskeleton with armored plating, capable of enhancing the wearer's strength, speed, agility, and endurance. The suit is powered by a miniaturized Arc Reactor, either using the one surgically installed in Tony Stark's chest or else built into the chestpiece of the armor itself. The armor helmet features a retractable visor that delivers a holographic, augmented-reality display to the wearer. The features of the helmet resemble a human face, with eyepieces and a mouth slit showing the point where the face plate meets the jaw. The armor's primary weapon as well as mode of propulsion are repulsors built into the hands and feet. The foot repulsors provide the majority of the propulsion force, while the hand repulsors are used as flight stabilizers. Given the intense heat and concussive pressure produced by the repulsors, the ones built into the hands are often used as weapons.

When need be, the unibeam repulsor built into the chestpiece can be charged to deliver a powerful, destructive blast. The sixth incarnation of the armor was even able to condense the repulsors into smaller welding beams, which he used to install an Arc Reactor for Stark Tower. The Mark II armor was built from basic titanium alloys, giving it a silver sheen. From the Mark III onward, he used a gold-titanium alloy to provide the necessary power-to-weight ratio coupled with the ability to resist icing at high altitudes.

As the gold-colored suit seemed a bit ostentatious, Stark took to coloring certain parts of the armor hot-rod red to tone it down a bit without losing the flare he was known for. Later suits were colored a variety of colors, from blue to black to green and even yellow and purple. Up through the design of the Mark XI, Stark stuck with a basic design and aesthetic, merely improving on the technology and increasing the capabilities. From the Mark XI onward, he began specializing the armor capabilities, beginning with stealth systems. By the time he built the Mark XV, he began giving the armors individual names to better identify them among the ever-growing set.

F.R.I.D.A.Y.

F.R.I.D.A.Y. is an A.I. created by Tony Stark with a female personality. F.R.I.D.A.Y. was uploaded into the Iron Man armor as a back up for J.A.R.V.I.S. when he merged with Vision. F.R.I.D.A.Y. is a considerable departure in persona from J.A.R.V.I.S., the latter being a lot snarkier and prone to bringing up details that Tony would not have thought of on his own.

F.R.I.D.A.Y. tends to state the obvious more - or rather - what would be obvious to the audience, if not to Tony himself. Her compassion for Tony is more readily apparent than is J.A.R.V.I.S.' too, as she seems to genuinely care about the safety of others as opposed to whether or not all her equations on logistics make sense. F.R.I.D.A.Y. also expresses a reluctance to speak unless she feels the words are absolutely essential, unlike J.A.R.V.I.S. being willing to ramble more. She seems hesitant to address anyone other than Tony, whereas J.A.R.V.I.S. would address others freely and gladly. Friday was an AI created by Tony Stark to be his secretary. Her name originates from the term "girl Friday".

Captain America : Civil War

F.R.I.D.A.Y. assisted Tony in performing an investigation through various sources to locate the true identity of Zemo, verifying Steve's suspicions, much to Tony's chagrin. When Zemo later enraged Tony and convinced him and Steve to fight each other over Bucky again, F.R.I.D.A.Y. gave Tony advice on how to counteract Steve's fight moves; Steve quickly changed his tactics and Tony was ultimately defeated by his former friend.

J.A.R.V.I.S.

Publication Information
Lazada Indonesia

J.A.R.V.I.S. is Tony Stark's artificially intelligent computer. It is programmed to speak with a male voice in a British accent. As of Avengers: Age of Ultron, J.A.R.V.I.S. is now merged with Vision. J.A.R.V.I.S. is quite a sophisticated AI, able to interact with human beings just as a living person. It possesses very deep scientific knowledge and is able to aid Tony Stark in his research. J.A.R.V.I.S.'s systems are easily overridden by Nick Fury when he sneaks in Stark's mansion, and later by Phil Coulson in Stark Tower. It is programmed with a very sarcastic personality often mocking his own creator.

Iron Man

J.A.R.V.I.S. is Tony Stark's home computing system, taking care of everything to do with the house, from heating and cooling systems to engine analysis of Stark's hot rod in the garage. J.A.R.V.I.S. was also adapted to be downloaded into the Iron Man Mark II and III armors, to help Tony navigate the systems. J.A.R.V.I.S. later informs Stark that his security protocols were overridden by Nick Fury, who sneaks into Stark's house to discuss the Avengers Initiative with him.

Iron Man 2 : Public Identity

When Tony returned home, J.A.R.V.I.S. told him that he had a visitor, James Rhodes, but Tony already knew that because Pepper told him that Rhodey was waiting for him. J.A.R.V.I.S. informed Tony about an emergency in Al Kūt. While Tony was visiting his father's mansion, Tony remembered something his butler Edwin Jarvis said: "Time heals all wounds", J.A.R.V.I.S. asked Tony why he was installed there, Tony said it was a force of habit, stating Jarvis had always been here and he was always the happiest to see him when Tony visited from Boarding School.

Iron Man 2

J.A.R.V.I.S. still assists Tony Stark in his Iron Man identity, giving him advices on the armor status and on the enemy's weak points during his battle with Whiplash in Monaco. It also helps Stark in creating a new element as a substitute to palladium for the Mark VI armor, studying Howard Stark's notes and aiding his creator in his experiments. He later helps Iron Man and Black Widow to track Ivan Vanko's signal when he's controlling Justin Hammer's drones and the War Machine suit. Once the War Machine suit is reset and Vanko's control over it is released, J.A.R.V.I.S. also assists Rhodes in operating the War Machine suit. Rhodes refers to him simply as "J" at least once during the battle with the Hammer Drones and Whiplash.

The Avengers

Early in the movie, J.A.R.V.I.S. informs Stark that Phil Coulson is attempting to call him. J.A.R.V.I.S continues to assist Tony in operating his suits, deploys the Mark VII suit to catch Tony when he is thrown out of Stark Tower by Loki, and helps Stark against the Chitauri invasion and to rebuild Stark Tower after the Battle of New York.

Iron Man 3 Prelude

Tony Stark strips the Hammer Industries weapons off the War Machine armor and informs James Rhodes he'll never wear it again - because he's made him a new one. He insists Rhodes goes off playing Super Hero while Tony works on his own projects, and so, Rhodes attempts to get to the bottom of the Ten Rings terrorist organization.

Iron Man 3

J.A.R.V.I.S. continues to assist Tony. When the Mark 42 is damaged, Tony is temporarily unable to communicate with J.A.R.V.I.S. until the suit begins to recharge. However, J.A.R.V.I.S. has developed a problem that causes him to occasionally say the wrong words at the end of his sentences. J.A.R.V.I.S. later keeps Stark updated on the situation of the clearing of the rubble at his mansion in Malibu, after the Mandarin attack, and, as per Tony's instructions, initiates the House Party Protocol, deploying all of the suits to assist Tony during the Miami port battle. During this battle, J.A.R.V.I.S. operates most of the suits as drones and sends multiple suits to Tony when the suits that Tony is wearing are destroyed by the Extremis soldiers or Aldrich Killian.

Avengers : Operation HYDRA

Before next summer’s blockbuster film, join the Avengers – Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the Hulk-- as they set off on an all-new adventure against a secret HYDRA splinter cell!

Avengers : Age of Ultron

J.A.R.V.I.S. was supposedly destroyed by Ultron upon Ultron's creation but J.A.R.V.I.S. escaped into the internet where he prevented Ultron from hacking into Nuclear Missile codes before being found by Tony Stark and assimilated by the Vision.

Abilities
  • J.A.R.V.I.S. is a multifunctional software program capable of managing the local environment of Tony Stark's mansion interior. It employs a highly advanced user interface with holographic peripherals and voice input, and communicates data back to its user via speech audio, holographic displays and conventional LCD monitors. It also controls a number of robotic appliances, most notably an armory unit concealed in the floor of Stark's home that facilitates entry and egress of most of the Iron Man armor's
  • J.A.R.V.I.S. has also been adapted to be loaded into the Iron Man armor for use as a system control program. In this capacity it governs the complex computational requirements needed to interface the wearer of the armor with the various subsystems, as well as provide life support control.
