Bio Star was destroyed after a world war erupted over the use of a scientific discovery called "Bio Particles". The Bio Star Peacekeeping Alliance, which sought to use Bio Particles for peaceful purposes, sends the giant robot Bio Robo and an assistant robot named Peebo in order to prevent the same tragedy from happening on Earth. Bio Robo arrived in 15th century Japan, where it showered Bio Particles on five young individuals. Five centuries later, the descendants of these individuals, infused with Bio Particles, are chosen by Peebo and Bio Robo to become the Bioman team in order to protect the Earth from the Neo Empire Gear, an organization led by the mad scientist Doctor Man.

- Carries : A carrier ship for Bio Jets 1 and 2. On the fuselage side, it is equipped with two laser guns With its magnetic force crane, it can pick up an inert BioRobo. It can even transport a fully-formed Bio Robo to the scene of battle.
Years later, BioDragon appeared as part of an army of robots, animals, jets, machines and vehicles belonging to the first 25 red heroes. As anticipated by Soukichi Banba (Big One), they were led by Akira Shinmei (AoRenger) and Chief Counsellor Naoyuki Miura to help fight Lost Highness Rakushaasa.

- Coming from the Bio Star 500 years ago, it is the BioRobo that showers five youths with Bio-particles. It is the BioRobo that also gathers our five protagonists together, literally picking them up like action figures. It is also semi-sentient, showing fear at the arrival of Silva. It is formed from the two Bio Jets when the command "Fusion! Hyper Cross!" is given.
- It is armed with the Super-Maser sword and it destroys monsters with a variety of finishing attacks including, but not limited to, Concentration, Comet Cutter, Chainsaw Cutter, Straight Flush, Pinball Sting, and Dashing Beam.
- It uses a powered up attack, the Bio Particle Cut against later monsters. In the Philippine Dub, the fusion of the Bio Robo had renamed as Bio Integrate!. The Super-Maser sword becomes as Super Laser sword and four of it's techniques have renamed as Straight Thrust, Triple Slash, Destructo Slash, and Giant Top Spin but maintains Concentration and Bio Particle Cut. The toy version refers it as Electronic Fusion Bio Robo.

Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger vs Super Sentai
Bio Robo, as one of the past Sentai Giant Robos, imbued Hyakujuu Gattai GaoKing with its power to defeat the giant Lost Highness Rakushaasa.
Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle
When GokaiOh and Gosei Great faced the Black Cross Colossus, the mecha of the first 33 Super Sentai, including Bio Robo which possibly manifested from a toy version like DaiDenzin and the Variblune, appeared to back them up. When the Black Cross Colossus summoned several giant villains to oppose them, Bio Robo fought alongside GekiTohja and Great Five to destroy Buredoran of the Comet. After all the giant villains were destroyed, all 35 mecha weakened Black Cross Colossus with a combined attack before GokaiOh combined with the Variblune to become Goren GokaiOh which destroyed the Black Cross Colossus with the Gokai Hurricane: Cassiopeia finisher. With the battle won, the 33 past Super Sentai mecha vanished.
